Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a powerful modality to help change behaviours and understand yourself more deeply.
Hypnotherapy provides you with an opportunity to have a conversation with your subconscious mind where our core beliefs about ourselves and the world are held, most of which are formed during childhood and beyond our conscious awareness.
I help clients with issues such as weight loss and healthy habits, overcoming unwanted habits like nail biting and smoking, stress and anxiety, self confidence, public speaking, pain, fears and phobias, test anxiety, sports enhancement, emotional trauma, heartbreak, motivation and more.

Basic Hypnotherapy Session

Hypnotherapy is not only useful for releasing unwanted issues, it is also incredibly effective for attaining new attributes and skills such as confidence and motivation.
The beauty of hypnotherapy is that you will not have to use willpower, effort or struggle to attain your goal. It will happen naturally once your subconscious mind accepts the new empowering beliefs that are installed during your session.
Regression Hypnotherapy

Early childhood regression is very effective because it gets to the root cause of the issue.
Once the root cause is revealed and understood, transformation happens relatively quickly and easily, especially when compared with more traditional therapy techniques.
Hypnosis FAQ
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is simply a relaxed, focused state of concentration. When a person is hypnotized, they are not asleep. During hypnosis, the brain enters a state more receptive to suggestion. Most people do not feel like they are in a hypnotic state - most simply feel deeply relaxed.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is using the state of hypnosis in a therapeutic way to alleviate a variety of medical and psychological problems.
Our subconscious is the main driver of our perceptions, thoughts, feelings, behaviours and therefore, life experience. It stores our beliefs, most of which were imprinted there at a very young age. It also behaves in a very predicable way, following certain rules. When we understand how it works, we gain the power to change it. The hypnotherapist does not possess any type of power or gift, but has learned how to give suggestions that the subconscious mind will accept and act on in a positive, helpful way.
What will I remember?
The majority of people are aware of everything that takes place during their hypnosis session. Even after emerging from hypnosis, a person will typically be able to recall everything that took place during the session.
Can I be hypnotized?
Almost everyone with an IQ above 70 can be hypnotized if they are willing and trust the hypnotherapist. Willingness and trust are the primary factors that affect a client's ability to be hypnotized. Generally, intelligent and imaginative people achieve the best results.
What does it feel like?
During a hypnotherapy session, most people remain completely aware of everything that is going on. In fact, many people experience a hyper-awareness where their sensations are perceived to be enriched and vivid. The ability to visualize or imagine is enhanced, and deep, comfortable relaxation is common. Many describe the hypnotic state as a complete and total escape from physical tension and emotional stress, while remaining completely aware. Most of my clients are so comfortable and relaxed by the end of the session, they don't want it to end!
How many sessions will I need?
Every client is different, and the hypnosis sessions are not "one size fits all". Clients may get results in as little as one or two sessions, but commonly more sessions are needed over a longer period, from four to five on average, especially if the unwanted behavior has been habitual for many years. An estimate can be provided during your consultation of how many sessions may be needed.
Is hypnosis permanent?
Suggestions stay with some individuals indefinitely, while others need reinforcement. The effects of hypnosis are cumulative: the more the techniques are practiced and post-hypnotic suggestions are brought into play, the more permanent the results become. Self-hypnosis training as well as reinforcement recordings for home use also provide additional help.
Can I hypnotize myself?
Yes, anyone can learn self-hypnosis in just a few minutes, and it's something I include in your sessions. Self-hypnosis is a wonderful, powerful tool that can be used by anyone throughout the day. It is also a fact that all hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis.
